If there's one thing I love more than donuts, it's fruit infused water. Last week, I received a little present from the Drop Bottle and I'm so obsessed with it. The bottle itself is made of glass and the tops come in different colors (rose gold, peach, metallic black and matte black). It has a very minimal look and it definitely isn't a drag to carry around.
I've recently been drinking a ton water and getting into the habit of staying hydrated throughout the day. We underestimate how essential it is to drink enough water and lets be honest, most of us don't do it. SO earlier today, I had some fun trying different detox water recipes. The combinations are endless and you can pretty much use any fruits you desire. I put together my top 3 recipes that I personally feel help me a ton and maybe they can help you all as well!
1. The Alkalizer
Once you've finished slicing everything, put all of it into the Drop Bottle and then top it off with fresh filtered water. Not only is this an excellent recipe for alkalizing your body and balancing your pH, but it also looks aesthetically pleasing. This is usually the first thing I drink as soon as I wake up to make sure that I'm energized and detoxified for the day.
2. Skin Radiance
This recipe is one of my absolute favorites because it really doesn't need much and it does wonders for your skin. There are days where my skin isn't looking all that great, but I make sure to have my daily dose of orange-blueberry infused water. Blueberries contain antioxidants and they help combat aging which means we can help ourselves be wrinkle free for a while. Oranges prevent acne due to the high levels of vitamin A and they're rich in vitamin C which stimulates collagen production. So if you ask me, it's a good idea to drink this on the reg.
3. Immunity Support
So this last and final recipe is SO so important if you have a weaker immune system than most people. Speaking from personal experience, it truly sucks getting sick all the time. My immune system gives me a hard time especially when the winter months roll around. A weak immune system can stem from many different ailments and it can be difficult to strengthen it. You know that saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"? Yup, I've never heard a more accurate statement. Apples are nature's medicine, they treat so many different diseases and illnesses AND are delicious at the same time. In this recipe, apples are your main ingredient so make sure you always include it in the water detox. After making this my daily routine, I've noticed a huge improvement in my immunity, my skin and my energy. Your body is like a car; give it the necessary fuel it needs to run and it won't let you down.
