My First Cryofacial

Getting a facial is probably my favorite self-care activity. I will seriously take a facial over a massage any day. Today I got to try a cryofacial, which is a facial that is non-invasive and works through the means of freeze therapy. Just like my cryotherapy experience, it was cold but it felt so nice and I would absolutely do it again.

Some really amazing benefits include:

  • younger looking skin

  • helps to reduce pigmentation or uneven skin tone

  • soothes inflammation

  • increases skin radiance
  • lightens scars left from acne

This morning I woke up with a HUGE pimple smack in the middle of my right cheek. I was hoping my cryofacial would get rid of it or at least lessen the appearance and guess what? it actually minimized the size and redness in just one session. Like any other facial, this facial started with some steam, exfoliation and extractions (which I have a love/hate relationship with lol) and it ended with some cryo.

I have really sensitive skin and whenever I get any facial, my skin gets red and irritated for hours and sometimes it lasts up to 2 days. I was happy that with the cryofacial it didn't get as irritated and it didn't feel weird. My skin felt soft and fresh, it looked bright and alive and the best part is that I didn't have to wear makeup to cover my blemishes after it.

If you guys are interested in giving your skin some extra love, visit Advanced Cryo and book your session. This was definitely one of my favorite facials so far, I can't wait to go back.
